Kevin Nash Blasts ABC For Cancelling Jimmy Kimmel, What Is A Released WWE Superstar Doing These Days?, New Job Revealed, The Road Dogg Talks “KofiMania”
— On Wednesday, ABC, through Nexstar Media Group, announced the indefinite suspension of Jimmy Kimmel Live. The move came in the wake of the fatal shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. During Monday night’s broadcast, Kimmel addressed the tragedy, simply stating,
“The MAGA Gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it. In between the finger-pointing, there was grieving.”
WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash responded to the announcement on Twitter, writing,
“Well @ABCNetwork you’re programming will not be viewed in my home. I guess freedom of speech doesn’t exist at your network. In times like this America looks for a spine. I’ll wait and see where @jimmykimmel lands. Pathetic!”
— The Road Dogg recently reflected on being a key part of Kofi Kingston’s “KofiMania” rise leading into WrestleMania 35. The WWE SVP of Live Events was the lead writer for Kingston’s storyline, which culminated in Kingston winning the WWE Championship at WrestleMania.
Speaking with GamingBible, The Road Dogg described how meaningful the experience was for him. He said,
“I’ve got goosebumps just telling you about that. I don’t get goosebumps talking about any of my matches, even against Chyna. Being able to help create those kinds of moments, that’s what I love and is the most fun.”
He went on to say, “That moment means so much to me, especially because I have such a great relationship with Kofi.”
Kingston went on to defeat Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 35 and held the championship for six months.
— Kona Reeves is keeping himself busy these days, sharing that he’s having a blast as a stunt performer at Disney World.
In a recent interview with “MuscleMan Malcolm,” Reeves was asked about the possibility of returning to the ring. He confirmed that he still wrestles for BRCW but is currently focused on his stunt work.
“I’m enjoying having fun right now. I work full-time over at Disney World. I’m a stunt performer at the Indiana Jones Show. I beat up Indiana Jones for a living.”
Reeves, whose real name is Noah Kekoa, left WWE in 2021 and has competed in seven matches this year, primarily for BRCW. His most recent bout took place this past weekend at CCW Conquer Kissimmee 39.
