Hellraiser: Revival Is Going To Push The Ratings Limit As Far As They are Allowed To Push Them

Saber Interactive development chief Tim Willits told IGN that Hellraiser: Revival is going to push the limits as far as they can push them when it comes to the game’s violence, sexual content, and adult themes.

“We are going to go as far as we possibly can, as far as the people that make rules will let us go,” Willits insisted. “And I hope that we can make one version, but we are willing to go as far as we possibly can go.”

The story follows Aidan, who must utilise the power of the mysterious puzzle box, known as the Genesis Configuration, to aid his girlfriend, Sunny, in her escape from the hellish Labyrinth. Along the way, you’ll bargain with the infamous Pinhead using the power of the box while battling against cultists loyal to the Cenobites.

Clive Barker is working closely with Saber to ensure the story and characters align with the original universe he envisioned back in 1987. Doug Bradley, who played the iconic role of Pinhead for almost 20 years, will repraise the role in Hellraiser: Revival.
