Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 13-14)

Welcome to another weekend! We’re well into September now, which means the big releases are starting to kick into gear on Xbox – with Gearbox’s Borderlands 4 being the big one this past week.

Here’s what we’re playing over the next few days:

Despite some great reviews so far, Borderlands 4 really isn’t my jam, so I don’t think I’ll be dipping into that one this weekend. Instead, I just found out that PC car-chase sim Heading Out has made its way to Xbox – and it’s been on my list for a while so I think I’m going to pick the Xbox version up and give it a whirl.

Aside from that, I’ve been doing some cruising around on Forza Horizon 3 lately so I may continue with that, I’ve been hopelessly addicted to doing runs on Exit 8 so that will no-doubt take up some of my time – and I just picked up Cronos: The New Dawn as well. Basically, it’s going to be a little bit of anything and everything on Xbox this weekend!

Have a good one, folks.

I think I’m going to be playing some indie games! I picked up this 2D supermarket simulator called Discounty that’s been getting a fair bit of attention recently, so that’s going to be fun to check out over the next couple of days.

I’m still trying to make my way through some of those Xbox Demo Fest titles as well. I played an amazing one called Rhythm Towers that I’m now planning to buy when it comes out, along with a couple of others that I wasn’t as keen on. A lot of these demos are going to disappear at the end of September, so I better get a move on while I can.

Enjoy your weekend!
