Horror-Loop FMV Effort Dead Reset From Wales Interactive Releases Today On PS5

Dead Reset, a horror time loop Full Motion Video adventure from FMV wizards Wales Interactive, has released today on PS5.

A splatter-filled hybrid of the sort of horror sci-fi cinema you might see in the late 1970s and 1980s, together with the sort of non-linear narratives that Wales Interactive specalises in, Dead Reset certainly puts its (somewhat mangled) foot forward as an enticing genre effort.

As surgeon Cole Mason, who has been unceremoniously taken hostage in an underwater complex, players are forced to operate on a dying patient in order to pull out a terrifying parasitic creature. The kicker? Well, every time our lad Cole dies, his day restarts prior to him waltzing off of his mortal coil.

Soon realising what is happening to him, players must guide an increasingly enlightened Cole Mason who learns more and more with each life spent, bringing him closer to the truth behind the mystery of this parasitic horror.

With decent production values, non-linear storytelling and buckets of the red stuff, Dead Reset seems like a good way to kick off Halloween gaming season a good *checks notes* nearly seven weeks early.
