Deadzone: Rogue Brings Its Co-Op Roguelite FPS To Xbox This Week

There’s a massive number of games coming to Xbox this week, so a lot of exciting releases are bound to get overlooked in the process – one of which might be Deadzone: Rogue, which looks like an awesome new co-op roguelite FPS.

In fact, Deadzone: Rogue has been available for a little while on Steam already, where it has a “Very Positive” rating based on over 4,000 user reviews. The idea behind the game is that you’ve awoken aboard the ISS-X with no memory of who you are, and it’s your job to blast through swarms of enemies while also looting rare gear.

As mentioned, this is a co-op game that supports squads of up to three players, featuring over 30 weapons and the ability to “transform your combat approach through dozens of augments, perks, and items”.

Ready for the best bit? Deadzone: Rogue has a free demo for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S that can be accessed until September 2nd at 1pm ET (which is when it’ll be taken down), so grab it while you can! It gives you access to the Zone 1 story mission, so you can get an idea of whether the full game is something you’d want to buy.

Deadzone: Rogue officially releases for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S on Wednesday, September 3rd.

Deadzone: Rogue is a fast-paced roguelite FPS set aboard the ISS- X, a space station overrun by rogue machines. Venture into The Deadzone solo or team up with up to 3 friends in online co-op. Wield over 30 upgradable elemental weapons to carve through enemies and powerful bosses. Improve your build each mission with augments, rare gear, and upgrades that amplify your strength and versatility. Snipe from afar, sneak in close, or go all-in with melee. Grow stronger in death. Fight. Die. Revive. Repeat.
