Ghost Of Yotei Has Officially Gone Gold, Is Locked For PS5 Release On Oct. 2

Sucker Punch Productions has confirmed on social media that Ghost of Yotei has hit gold status, which means production has wrapped and the game is locked and loaded for its release in early October.

Ghost of Yōtei has officially gone gold! We’re so excited to finally have reached this milestone and can’t wait for everyone to experience the beauty of Ezo on October 2nd.

Sony and Sucker Punch confirmed during GamesCom Opening Night Live last week that Ghost of Yotei will receive a Legends Mode in 2026, which allows players to team up for a new campaign with a supernatural edge.

Speaking last month, members of the development team revealed that players can expect a ‘similar experience‘ to Ghost of Tsushima in regards to how much time they will be putting into Ghost of Yotei. The game will also focus on player freedom more than any previous title that Sucker Punch has developed.

Ghost of Yotei is slated for release on October 2, 2025 for PS5.
