Five Xbox Game Pass Titles Get New Reveals At Gamescom Opening Night Live 2025
Today’s Gamescom Opening Night Live event treated us to new reveals for five Xbox Game Pass titles in total, three of which were for a selection of upcoming first-party releases, and two of which were total surprises!
The two that we really didn’t expect were for the sci-fi horror game ROUTINE, which finally now has a release window of late 2025, and the highly-anticipated sequel Moonlighter 2 – which is launching in early access this October for PC alone (including PC Game Pass), and then coming to console at some point in the future.
So, let’s take a look at all five Xbox Game Pass titles that were featured in today’s Gamescom showcase:
ROUTINE – Release Window Trailer (Late 2025)
ROUTINE is a First Person Sci-Fi Horror title set on an abandoned lunar base designed around an 80s vision of the future. The Outer Worlds 2 – Companion Trailer (October 29, 2025)
What good is being a commander if you don’t have a crew? Meet the companions who will be joining you on your journey through the Arcadia colony as you look into what is happening with the rifts in space time that are somewhere between a moderate and immediate threat to the universe, or dealing with any of the factions who are vying for control of the colony. Or, you know, ignore the money that went into making this asset to teach you who they are, and go all lone wolf. The choice is yours.
Moonlighter 2 – Early Access Date Reveal Trailer (October 23, 2025 On PC Game Pass, TBD For Consoles)
