Elden Ring Nightreign Ships 5 Million Units As Shadow Of The Erdtree Reaches 10 Million Shipments

Elden Ring Nightreign has shipped five million copies worldwide since its release in May 2025, publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced. In addition, Shadow of the Erdtree, the expansions for Elden Ring, has notched up 10 million units shipped globally.

Elden Ring: Nightreign is a standalone entry in the series that takes place in the first open-world area of Elden Ring, only now features procedurally generated content. There’s a major focus on co-op this time around, with teams of three players able to prepare over a period of three in-game days to face off against the final boss. However, the game employs a gradually decreasing gameplay area like battle royale titles, which resets after dispatching a minor boss at the climax of each day. You can read our full review here.
