Screen Burn Interactive Is The New Name For Silent Hill Townfall Dev No Code

Developer No Code, the studio behind the upcoming Silent Hill Townfall, has announced that it has officially rebranded as Screen Burn Interactive.

Speaking in a statement, Jon McKellan, Founder and Creative Director of Screen Burn Interactive, commented:

We’re not who we were in 2015. We’ve grown and changed. For a start, we have coders now! So, we needed a name that instead reflects what’s always been at the heart of the games themselves: the imperfect feel of old technology and the lasting impact of a story that stays with you long after the credits roll.

According to the studio, the new name for the company is something of a nod to Silent Hill Downfall, looking to capture the “ghost of an image burned into an old CRT screen,” and its ability to imprint on the player’s memory. No further details on Silent Hill Downfall were revealed during the statement, and the project has been pretty quiet since its initial reveal in October 2022.
