Tony Hawk joins this week’s eShop roundup

This week’s eShop roundup includes the one and only Tony Hawk, with Pro Skater 3 + 4 making its way to the Switch and Switch 2. This marks the first time these classic titles have appeared on a Nintendo device, making it a special moment for fans as we take our mad skating skills into handheld mode. This outing features new and returning modes, along with cross-platform online play, plus HD graphics.

Patapon 1+2 is another collection heading our way this week, bringing the rhythm-based action to the Switch. This is also the first time this pair of games has appeared on a Nintendo console, though we’re not sure why Patapon 3 wasn’t included with this collection. Either way, the cute art style and addictive gameplay are welcome additions to the Switch library.

Meanwhile, the Nintendo Music app also continues to expand, this week bringing us the lovely tunes from Ocarina of Time. This classic game is fondly remembered by many players, and now you can listen to the soundtrack on your smart device whenever you like.

There’s also a long list of new Switch titles to contemplate, along with a title specifically for the Switch 2 in the form of Arcade Archives AIR COMBAT 22. There’s never a dull moment on the eShop, so check out the new releases (and the sales) to see what picques your interest.

The Standard Edition is available to pre-order on Nintendo eShop. Early access is also available now with purchase of the Digital Deluxe Edition on Nintendo eShop.
• PATAPON 1+2 REPLAY – Remasters of the classic rhythm action games Patapon and Patapon 2 are coming to Nintendo Switch! The mysterious yet endearing creatures known as Patapon are guided on their adventures by the rhythm of four drums. Play these drums to the beat to give different commands to your Patapon army. There are different classes of Patapon, including the shield-wielding Tatepon and the horse-riding Kibapon, allowing for different tactical approaches as you battle a variety of fierce foes! PATAPON 1+2 REPLAY marches onto Nintendo Switch July 11.
