Stellar Blade Update 1.012 Adds 7 Arranged Tracks As Free Gift, Hard Mode Now Available From Start Of Game; Read The Patch Notes Here
Stellar Blade developer Shift Up has released a new update for the critically acclaimed title, which introduces a series of new arranged tracks as a free gift for players. There’s seven tracks in total, which are based on existing BMG. Elsewhere, the patch allows user to access Stellar Blade’s Hard Mode from the start of the game, and there’s a bunch of bug fixes and improvements thrown in for good measure. Stellar Blade was released for the PS5 in April 2024 and hit the PC in June 2025. On Steam, Stellar Blade achieved more than 100,000 concurrent users, making it one of the most successful PlayStation to PC ports released to date. Shift Up recently announced that the game has sold more than three million copies across both formats.

– Don’t Forget Me (Refresh) - “Hard Mode” is now available from the start of the game. “Hard Mode” is also unlocked for Boss Challenge.
- Fixed an issue during the quest “Where Is the Fantastic Bait?” where bait dropped from underwater boxes was occasionally unobtainable.
- Fixed an issue where, upon entering the “Demogorgon” battle, the camera would sometimes move away from the intended position, making aiming impossible.
- Fixed an issue where the artbook would occasionally not appear on the title screen after completing the first playthrough.
- Fixed an issue where entering Boss Challenge while wearing “Planet Diving Suit (6th) V3” would cause the outfit to revert to the “Skin Suit”.
- Fixed an issue during the Scarlet battle where QTEs could cause abnormal character motion and camera behavior.
- Fixed an issue where the game would occasionally crash when entering Photo Mode.
- Various other bug fixes.
