What Are You Playing This Weekend? (June 28-29)

The weekend begins! We’ve got plenty to enjoy on Xbox over the next couple of days, including a bunch of new Xbox Game Pass releases and various discounted titles as part of the Xbox Open World Sale (along with a few other sales).

Here’s what we’re playing this weekend:

I’m firmly addicted to Rematch right now. The new Xbox Game Pass title reminds me exactly of Rocket League’s launch back in the day, and this time it’s actually more aligned with my love of football rather than football with cars! Both games are amazing in their own right, and you better believe I’ll be playing some games of Rematch this weekend.

The other thing I’m playing a lot of right now, and will be over the next couple of days, is Burnout 3: Takedown. I penned a little piece the other day about how backwards compatibility on Xbox 360 is surprisingly decent, and it’s inspired me to dig out the classics again! Burnout 3 is just as good today as it ever was back in 2004.
