“NieR Summer Vacation – Request Hour” anniversary music stream announced

Square Enix has announced a special streaming event to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the NieR franchise, and it’s going to focus in on the IP’s stellar soundtracks.

Airing on YouTube July 6th, 2025 at 2 AM ET, Square Enix has revealed the “NieR Summer Vacation – Request Hour” game music stream. Both Keiichi Okabe and Yoko Taro will be a part of the festivities, and the stream will include two different parts.

The first portion of the stream is called Drive DJ, and this will feature various songs from throughout the NieR franchise. After that comes the portion where Okabe and Taro will appear, and they’ll be joined by producer Yosuke Saito and designer Takahisa Taura. You’ll be able to enjoy the entire stream through the embed below.
