Calling all industry professionals, gamers and even the toughest critics: have you stumbled over a game in the past 12 months that kept you glued? A title that stirred you to laughter, tears, or shouting in excitement?
Now’s your chance to celebrate the creators and teams behind these experiences – and give them the spotlight they deserve. Do note however, you’ve not got long, as the nomination phase closes at midnight this Friday, June 27th.
So head over to the Mobile Games Awards nomination page to submit a company, team, service or game that’s done something remarkable over the past year – something you believe deserves one (or more) of the 22 available awards categories.
You can nominate your own or someone else’s game, service, or company for as many categories as you like.
As for nominating a game for PocketGamer.com’s People’s Choice Award – use this simple form to submit your favourites. This nomination phase also ends Friday, June 27th.
Next up: voting
Once we have passed the nomination deadline, a core team of judges will create a shortlist from all submissions. Members of the games industry – yes, that includes you – will then vote on the selected finalists, from July 1st to 31st.
Not long after the 31 days of frantic voting are up, the Mobile Games Awards will reach its final culmination with a live gala in Cologne on August 19th during Gamescom week.
But don’t be fooled, this is not just any ordinary ceremony. It’s a fanciful and truly fantastic celebration of the best creations, innovations, and installations the games industry has on show. Do note, it’s also highly popular and never fails to sell out, so make sure to book your tickets early to avoid disappointment.
