EA Still Plans To Reveal The New Battlefield Game This Summer
The new Battlefield game is still set to be announced in full this summer, publisher Electronic Arts has said.
Speaking on X, Andy McNamara, Global Senior Director of Integrated Comms at Battlefield Studios, had the following to say when asked about whether or not the reveal would take place in June.
“We got some things brewing :),” before adding: “The community will know when the reveal is coming. We are focused on Labs and preparing for the reveal this summer.” So there we have it: Battlefield 6 is still getting announced this summer, although that doesn’t mean it will happen this month.

The new Battlefield game is set to launch at some point before March 2026, which marks the end of EA’s financial year. Previously, member of the game’s development team have said that the game’s campaign takes inspiration from a few unlikely sources, including Dead Space and Civil War.
The new Battlefield game is currently undergoing extensive playtesting ahead of its release, which has confirmed that the game will feature some impressive destruction mechanics. This latest entry in the franchise is a massive undertaking, and is being worked on by a collective known as Battlefield Studios, which includes DICE, Ripple Effect Studios, Criterion Games and EA Motive.
