Gears Of War: Reloaded Is Top Of The PS5 Pre-Order Charts Right Now
Gears fever is in full swing right now, and despite Gears of War: Reloaded being largely a familiar experience for Xbox fans, it’s clear that PlayStation users are lapping up Marcus Fenix’s PS5 debut.
Both the US and UK PSN pre-order charts are topped by Gears: Reloaded at the moment, with the once-Xbox exclusive beating out the likes of Death Stranding 2, College Football 26, Ready or Not and more.
Those are some huge upcoming PS5 releases, so this is quite an impressive feat for what’s essentially a remaster of a 20-year-old game. There are a few other factors likely contributing to this as well though – the game’s $40/£40 price tag looks rather reasonable in the current market, and pre-ordering the game gets you access to The Coalition’s ongoing beta test too.
