Borderlands 4 Standard Edition Confirmed To Retail For $69.99 As Preorders Go Live
Gearbox head honcho Randy Pitchford has revealed in a post on X that the standard edition of Borderlands 4 will retail for $69.99, and won’t be joining the lineup of $79.99 titles as seen with The Outer Worlds 2. This follows controversial comments from Pitchford where he stated that ‘real fans’ would find a way to fork out for a $79.99.
Pitchford also confirmed that preorders for Borderlands 4 are now live and kicking:

In addition to the standard edition, Borderlands 4 is also offering a Deluxe Edition and Super Deluxe Edition for $99.99/$129.99. The Deluxe Edition features the base game, the Bounty Pack Bundle (four unique areas, missions, six bosses, four Vault Cards with unique challenges & rewards, new gear and weapons, new Vault Hunter cosmetics, and four new vehicles) and the Firehawk’s Fury weapon skin.
Meanwhile, the Super Deluxe Edition includes everything above plus the Vault Hunter Pack (two new playable Vault Hunters, two new map regions, new story missions & side missions, new gear and weapons, new Vault Hunter cosmetics, and new Echo-4 cosmetics) and the Ornate Order Pack (four Vault Hunter skins, four Vault Hunter heads, and four Vault Hunter bodies).
Borderlands 4 is slated for release on September 12 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
