Apple has acquired Sneaky Sasquatch developer RAC7 for an undisclosed fee.
As reported by Digital Trends, the deal for the two-person team represents the tech giant’s first studio acquisition.
Apple was said to have called the move a unique circumstance and that it will help the developer expand its team. Sneaky Sasquatch is one of the Apple Arcade subscription service’s most recognised games.

Surprise purchase
“We love Sneaky Sasquatch and are excited that the two-person RAC7 team has joined Apple to continue their work on it with us,” said an Apple spokesperson.
“We will continue to deliver a great experience for Apple Arcade players with hundreds of games from many of the best game developers in the world.”
