Rumour — Red Dead Redemption 2 PS5 & Xbox Series Upgrade Is In The Works
Fresh on the heels that Take-Two confirmed that Red Dead Redemption 2 has sold 74 million copies worldwide, a report on GameReactor has claimed that a PS5 and Xbox Series X/S upgrade of the critically acclaimed Wild West title is in the works.
Sources close to the site has stated that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2, which is believed to launch alongside the same time as the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S version of the title. The topic of a Red Dead Redemption 2 PS5 upgrade has been doing the rounds for a few years now, but nothing has ever come to fruition — that looks set to change finally, if these reports are to be believed.

Red Dead Redemption was released in November 2018 for PS4 and Xbox One, and serves as a prequel to the original 2010 Wild West epic. The game takes place in the United States in 1899, with players following outlaw and Van der Linde gang member, Arthur Morgan, who finds himself facing the decline of the Old West while battling rival gangs and surviving against against government forces.
Take-Two announced in November last year that the entire Red Dead Redemption franchise has amassed more than 92 million sales worldwide.
