Savvy Games Group has opened its new headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The company said the move marks its first “permanent home” and is a significant milestone in its commitment to build games and support the KSA’s esports ecosystem.
The new office is located in the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD). Savvy also relocated subsidiaries Steer Studios and Scopely’s Mirai into the new headquarters to provide better support.
“Fit-for-purpose”
The new headquarters was inaugurated by Savvy Games Group vice chairman Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Sultan Al Saud, alongside representatives from the Public Investment Fund and Savvy’s executive team.
“The space and environment you operate in are critical to building the right culture and boosting engagement and productivity,” Savvy Games Group CEO Brian Ward told PocketGamer.biz.
“I’m delighted that our HQ team now has a fantastic fit-for-purpose office – one that supports our growth, and also reflects the energy and ambition of the incredible local talent that’s helping to shape Saudi Arabia’s role in the global games and esports industry.”
Earlier this month we spoke to Brian Ward about Scopely’s acquisition of Pokémon Go developer Niantic, how it works with the publisher, and its M&A plans outside of mobile.
Savvy Games Group is one of a host of finalists in the MENA Games Industry Awards 2025. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in Dubai on May 8th, which takes place during the Dubai GameExpo Summit powered by Pocket Gamer Connects.
