Sonic joins the Nintendo Switch 2 launch day lineup

Did you get your pre-order in for the Nintendo Switch 2 last night / this morning? If you were one of the lucky ones, you may be pleased to learn that Sonic will now be amongst the popular characters making an appearance on drop day. SEGA has announced that SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS will be available June 5th.
Sonic joins Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut and Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S as Nintendo Switch 2 launch day titles. Physical and digital pre-orders for all three games are now open.
SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS – Play as Shadow in a brand-new story campaign featuring never-before-seen abilities that prove why he’s known as the Ultimate Life Form! Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut – The definitive edition of the critically acclaimed origin story of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s Yakuza series, enhanced for Nintendo Switch 2! This updated release includes new, never-before-seen story cutscenes; a brand-new “Red Light Raid” online multiplayer mode where you can join forces with friends to take down hordes of enemies; and the addition of English and Chinese VO plus French, Italian, German, and Spanish, and Simplified Chinese subtitles.
Preorders are also open for RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army (releasing June 19). Two Point Museum will join the lineup later this year.
