Girls Made Pudding sees triple the sales of its predecessor in just 2 weeks
In Girls Made Pudding, two girls tour a series of towns that people have disappeared from. This title is the sequel to Moonless Moon, and it seems the second time around has truly resonated with gamers.
While exact sales figures haven’t been shared, publisher ANMC and game creator Kazuhide Oka have announced that Girls Made Pudding has sold three times the amount Moonless Moon did, and it achieved that success just two weeks after its release. That’s a staggering achievement over the first game, and there’s no doubt sales will climb even higher.
ANMC has stated that 75% of the game’s sales are from the PC release, while the remaining 25% are Switch players. Perhaps more interesting is the split in region sales, with 60% of customers residing in Japan, and 40% coming from overseas. While it’s no surprise to see Japanese audiences take the lion’s share here, overseas audiences definitely showed up in a big way as well.
