Luigi’s spooky tunes waltz onto Nintendo Music
The collection of tunes on the Nintendo Music app continues to grow. This week’s addition is none other than Luigi’s first solo outing (not counting Mario is Missing), Luigi’s Mansion.
Initally released in 2001, Luigi’s Mansion has gone on to spawn several sequels and even re-releases like last year’s Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD. Now you can enjoy the original soundtrack of over 70 tracks any time you like, if you have a Switch Online account.
And it’s a lovely soundtrack, featuring fun and quirky tunes mixed with light-hearted spookiness. Unlike Luigi, who seems to always be trapped in haunted houses, you can now listen to the ghostly tunes from the safety of your own home during daylight hourrs. You know, just in case.
If you’re ready to give it a listen, you can head straight to the Luigi’s Mansion playlist here. Check out the track listing further below.
Since launching last October, the audio delights of the Nintendo Music app have steadily grown. We’ve seen a variety of games across generations of platforms, from the likes of Wave Race 64, F-Zero X, and Pokémon Legends Arceus to Donkey Country 2 and 3, Skyward Sword, and even Super Mario Kart.
The selection of soundtracks, though initially limited, is steadily growing, and we’re happy to see a constant stream of new releases each and every week. We’ll be sure to discuss this latest soundtrack to join Nintendo Music on our next episode of the Pure Nintendo Podcast, so stay tuned.
Have you been using the new Nintendo Music app? What do you think? We’d love to know your favorite soundtrack so far! Don’t forget, you’ll need a Nintendo Switch Online account in order to take advantage of Nintendo’s free music app.
