Future Games Show Summer Showcase Confirmed For June 7, Will Feature ‘World Premieres, Exclusive Trailers’ And More
The Future Games Show Summer Showcase organisers have confirmed that the event will be returning on June 7, 2025.
The digital extravaganza makes up just one of many gaming events scheduled for this summer, including Xbox Games Showcase 2025, The Outer Worlds 2 Direct, and of course Summer Game Fest 2025. While major details are being kept under wraps, GamesRadar has confirmed that we can expect “world premieres, exclusive trailers and brand new game demos from some of the industry’s most exciting and creative studios.”

Daniel Dawkins, Future Games Show’s Content Director, added that this year’s event “will be our most-ambitious show yet, the Future Games Show continues its mission to spotlight the most exciting and creative upcoming games.”
Regarding the PS5, we know that there’s a number of major titles on the horizon for this year, including Death Stranding 2: On the Beach and Ghost of Yotei, although beyond that Sony is keeping its cards close to its chest. With all the events this summer, there’s a strong chance we’ll get some more details on these titles there, or perhaps some new announcements (although to be fair, Sony may want to save its first-party reveals for a new State of Play).
