Our thoughts on the Switch 2 Direct! Pure Nintendo Podcast E106

This week on the Pure Nintendo Podcast, Jemma, Kirk, Trev, and Justin delve into the latest Nintendo Direct – this time featuring the long-awaited Switch 2!

Last week, we discussed the previous Direct, which featured upcoming games for the Nintendo Switch. This week, our countdown has finally come to an end as everything about the Switch 2 has now been revealed.

We begin with a look at the hardware. Does it meet our expectations? What do we think of the chat feature? And how about the camera?

We also have a lot to say about the games shown off. Mario Kart World looks amazing, but there’s also a huge surprise in a brand-new 3D Donkey Kong outing. Donkey Kong Bananza will have digging our way through the world in search of tresure when it hits the Switch 2 in July.
