One, two, three.

Winners: Swerve Strickland & Willow Nightingale

Rating: ***1/4. Really entertaining, talent-heavy opening match here. There were a few awkward spots, and most of them involved Marina Shafir, unfortunately. That being said, the match was a great teaser for Dynasty and Willow got a huge win.

After the match, Moxley rolls in and plants Willow with a Paradigm Shift! The doctors, Swerve, and Nana check on Willow as we go to the back.

Renee is in the back with FTR and Paul Turner. Dax has been fined $10,000 and he wants to apologize to Paul Turner himself. Roundhouse kick by Ford misses and Storm tosses her with a German suplex. Ford ducks a clothesline and tries a stunner but Storm finishes this one with Storm Zero.

Winner: Toni Storm

Rating: **1/2. Commercial break in the middle of this match felt extra annoying for some reason, but these two women had a heck of a match in the time they had allowed. Ford has grown so much in the ring and we know what we’ve got in Storm, so this was good stuff.

Renee is in the back as Swerve and Nana are checking on Willow. Swerve says Willow is strong, powerful, and brave, and that’s why he chose her as a partner. Knowing the history of neck issues that Willow had, now he’s on the hunt. Swerve isn’t resting until he gets his hands on Moxley… tonight. By the end of the night, Swerve will have his hands on Jon Moxley.

AEW announces the schedule for All In: Texas week, including a Ring of Honor PPV, Death Before Dishonor.

The Hurt Syndicate hit the ring, and before they can talk, here’s MJF. MJF formally introduces himself to Bobby Lashley. MJF knows about Lashley, he’s been around the block… but you’re standing on the block that MJF built. MJF can help Lashley and Shelton keep their titles, and they can help him reclaim his. MJF and The Hurt Syndicate is just good business. MVP knows it. MJF knows it. Even the mouth breathers in the mid-west know it. MJF says Lashley may not want him, but he needs him.

Out of respect for MVP, Lashley isn’t going to leave MJF laying right now. Lashley doesn’t like, need, or trust MJF. Unless MJF can prove otherwise, Lashley doesn’t need him.

MJF says okay and walks to the back cold.

The Learning Tree are here and they walk right past Lashley, offering him a seat…

Match #3. The Learning Tree vs. ?

Big boot to some guy. Bill gorilla presses another guy to the floor at the feet of Lashley. Bill then throws the other guys into a knee from Keith. Choke slam.

Winners: The Learning Tree

Rating: NA

Bill takes the mic and says they want a shot at the titles. MVP looks like he’s about to respond but Lashley covers the mic and they walk away.

Renee is with Mercedes Mone. Mone will face Julia Hart in the first round of the Owen Hart Tournament, but it will take more than tricks to derail the money train. Harley Cameron is here, because she’s tagging with Mone this week on Collision. Cameron has her puppet and tries to come up with a team name, but Mercedes wants her to stay out of her way.

Match #4. Will Ospreay & Kevin Knight vs. Blake Christian & Lee Johnson

Winners: Will Ospreay & Kevin Knight

Rating: ***1/4. AEW is working hard to showcase Kevin Knight, and it’s working. Blake Christian is another guy who’s been on TV a lot lately, and the push for youth is showing. Fun stuff.

Tony Schiavone grabs the mic real quick and lets us know that Ospreay and Kevin Knight will meet in the first round of the Owen Hart Cup, and that match will take place… on Dynasty!

The Opps will be there on Sunday… watching.

Match #5. Lance Archer vs. Brody King

Crossbody by Brody into the LED board. Brody rolls Archer back in the ring but Callis holds Brody’s ankle, allowing Archer to kick the rope into his lower half and connect with a big boot. The fight spills to the outside again and it’s just a brawl. Archer bounces Brody’s head off the announcer’s desk and we’re going to another commercial break. Running back elbows in the corner by Archer, but Brody moves. German suplex and some brutal chops. Rolling elbow by Brody and a running crossbody. Body slam and a running senton for two. Double leg by Claudio as he locks in the Sharpshooter right away. Cope makes his way closer to the ropes and Claudio transitions to the crossface. Cope attacks the grip and finally gets the break. Cope now locks in the Grindhouse on Claudio, but Claudio makes his way to the ropes as well. Both guys on the apron and Claudio powerslams Cope! Claudio dumps Cope into the front row and immediately gets in the ring… he wants the count out! Cope somehow gets in before the ten count but he walks right into a big lariat! Two count. Springboard by Claudio but Cope catches him in mid-air with a big boot! Two count. Cope tries for the spear but Claudio pops him up into a European uppercut! Two count. Neutralizer by Claudio! Only two! Claudio rolls outside and grabs a pair of chairs, setting up the ConChairTo. The referee takes the chair from Claudio and Cope goes low on him behind the referee! Spear! One, two, three!

Winner: Adam Copeland

Rating: ***1/4. A fine example of a pro’s pro wrestling match here. Big name guys in the main event, and it felt like a battle. Cope gets some momentum heading into Sunday’s Trios Championship.

Cope heads to the back as Renee is in the back, waiting on Willow. Swerve is there and he tells Renee he doesn’t have time for this, and he wants to find Moxley. Swerve takes a walk and the Death Riders blast him around the corner! Moxley tosses him through something that had a lot of glass in it and then gets dragged to the ring. Moxley dumps out a bag full of broken glass and Claudio drills Swerve with the Ricola Bomb! Swerve is left laying as the Death Riders escape through the crowd. Swerve its up, covered in glass, as Moxley looks on, confused. Swerve won’t stay down!
