We celebrate MAR10 Day! Pure Nintendo Podcast E102

This week on the Pure Nintendo Podcast, it’s time to celebrate all things Mario for MAR10 day! Jemma and Trev get into the spirit by looking at our fave Mario titles and what we’d like to see next from the series, particularly from a 3D perspective.

Last week, we discussed the Pokémon Presents and latest Xenoblade Chronicles X trailer. This week it’s time to switch gears to the classic stylings of Mario. We get into everything from Super Mario 64 to Super Mario Odyssey, and everything in between.

This week also sees the release of two classic Mario-themed titles for Nintendo Switch Online in the form of Donkey Kong and Mario’s Picross for Game Boy. Both are fun titles that are available now, so check that out if you have an Switch Online membership.

There’s also new Nintendo Music to discuss, amiibo news, an update on the Video Game Hall of Fame, and an update from Way Forward on Sigma Star Saga for Game Boy Advance.

We’re playing a few interesting games this week, from first-person shooter Turbo Overkill to Suikoden I&II Remaster, plus a fun point-and-click mystery called Urban Myth Dissolution Center.
