Autogun Heroes developer Nitro Games achieved record growth in 2024 as revenue grew 29% to €11.4 million ($12.3m) year-over-year.

EBITDA increased 241% to €2.4m ($2.6m), while net profits hit €475,000 ($495k), up 114% Y/Y.

In Q4 alone, the developer reported €3m ($3.2m) in revenue, a rise of 5.3% Y/Y. Meanwhile, EBITDA declined by 29.3% to €556k ($578k), and net profit decreased by 74% to €78k ($82k).

Nitro Games said its improved financials for the year comes as a result of its expanding portfolio, which includes projects such as Autogun Heroes, NERF: Superblast, Warframe on mobile and an upcoming Netflix project, as well as controlling costs.

The Finnish mobile games developer added that it is “seeing increasing demand” for cross-platform titles, especially games that include a mobile version, and that its “ongoing platform expansion is a good match to that demand.

“All-time high”

“We received notable follow-up orders from our B2B customers and secured new partnerships with a total order value of €9.4m despite a really challenging market,” said Nitro Games CEO Jussi Tähtinen.

He added: “It’s clear that we’re currently at an all-time high in many ways.

“Looking at our history and the long-term development of our revenue and profitability, it’s evident that this is not a one-off event but a logical next step in our journey. We turned profitable at the end of 2023 and stayed profitable throughout 2024 despite investing in the future growth of our game portfolio through platform expansion and new game exploration.

“Our focus on action and shooter brands across platforms has allowed us to capitalise on opportunities more effectively, continuously improving and strengthening our reputation.

“In 2024, we stayed true to our vision – collaborating with leading brands while expanding into new platforms. This resulted in a record financial year. More importantly, it positioned us well for the future, allowing us to continue steady forward movement toward new milestones and achievements.”
