HBO’s The Last Of Us Season 2 Will Premiere Mid-April 2025

In the first week of January 2025, we learned that HBO’s The Last Of Us would return with its season 2 premiere this coming April 2025. More than a month later, and a little bit ahead of when we’ll get to see more of the show at SXSW, we finally have an official premiere date.

The first episode for season 2 of HBO’s The Last Of Us will premiere on April 13, 2025. The date reveals that the show will be returning to its Sunday slot, and we can speculate that it’ll be premiering on the 13th, and each following week, in the same evening time slot. Though we don’t have those official details yet.

What we do have now, is a new piece of promotional art for the show, with the tagline “Every path has a price,” courtesy of the official Naughty Dog account on X.

So, we can officially take a sigh of relief. We have a date to look forward to! Which also means that this is when the tension of waiting for that first episode will intensify.
