AI-powered game creation platform Ludo AI has launched a new 3D generator tool to allow developers and 3D artists to create 3D models from text and 2D images.
Ludo AI said that models can be exported “in industry recognised formats into a 3D or game development workflow” to improve them into production assets.
Users can use the tool to generate models from text descriptions or turn 2D images into 3D objects. It also supports combined input, allowing control using both text and images.
Ludo AI said that users can also leverage a chat assistant for natural language-based creation and receive context-aware model suggestions based on Ludo Game Concept documents. Models can be exported in multiple formats, including GLB, STL, PLY, OBJ, and OFF.
Empowering developers
“With Ludo, any 3D content creator, designer, game developer or studio can make 3D models for games faster than ever before,” said Ludo AI CEO Tom Pigott. Our mission has always been to democratise game design and production so that indie developers and studios can compete.
“Using Ludo empowers developers and opens up a world of design and creativity that has never been available before. Now Ludo’s 3D generator tool takes the pain out of creating 3D assets and quickly allows creators to concentrate on the most important thing – the gameplay.”
In November 2024, Ludo AI updated its platform into a full game design hub. The update supports all stages of game design for both large studios and indie developers.
