Toby Fox Is Still Testing Bugs For Deltarune 3 & 4 On Console: ‘There’s A Lot To Go Through’
Toby Fox has taken to BlueSky to offer a brief update on the console versions of Deltarune 3 & 4, which is expected to arrive in 2025 for platforms including PS5. However, Fox revealed that he’s still in the process of testing for bugs, and hasn’t got around to working with the PS5 version yet.
Still console testing. There are fewer bugs, but there’s a lot to go through. (Haven’t even tested PS5 yet). In addition to fixing Ch3/Ch4, we also need to implement having saves from the DEMO carry over to the main game on consoles… We only received the technology to do this now. I hope it works!

Deltarune is an episode RPG designed by Fox as the follow-up to the much-loved Undertale, where players follow human teen Kris, his monster companion Susie, and Prince Ralsei, as they set out to save the world. The game combines turn-based battles with bullet hell mechanics, and it’s possible to resolve enemy scraps without resorting to violence.
