Commandos: Origins Arrives On PS5 First In April 2025, Then PS4 Sometime Later In The Year

The Commandos series is back with Commandos: Origins from developer Kalypso Media and developer Claymore Game Studios, and now we finally have a release date to look forward to.

Commandos: Origins will arrive on PS5 and other current-gen platforms on April 9, 2025, and then on PS4 sometime later in 2025, since Claymore Game Studios is also just announcing that there’s going to be a PS4 version at all.

Commandos: Origins takes players to World War II, where long-time fans will be able to, as the name suggests, play through the origins of the elite Commando squad players met all the way back in 1998 with the original game.

Commandos: Origins is finally arriving after having been delayed out of its original 2024 release window, though it’s unfortunate of course for PS4 players that they’ll have to wait just a little longer to be able to dive into the real-time stealth tactics the series is known for.
