Merak Capital’s $80 million gaming accelerator Exel by Merak is now accepting applications for its first cohort.
Selected participants will receive initial convertible note investments, mentorship from gaming professionals, and support from an Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR).
The program includes a two-week virtual boot camp and a 16-week acceleration phase focused on scaling, product commercialisation, and investment readiness. It concludes with a Demo Day, where startups can present their solutions to investors and industry leaders for future opportunities.
The program aims to support gaming startups by providing founders with resources, mentorship, and funding to help grow their ventures and contribute to the global games industry as part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative.
Applications are currently open until February 16th, 2025. Interested founders and startups can apply from the official website.
