Lunar New Year Ornament Decor Pikmin coming to Pikmin Bloom
The new year is never really fully here until we’ve also celebrated the Lunar New Year! Red and gold decorations are beginning to spring up in Pikmin Bloom as several regions across Asia prepare for this vibrant celebration, and there have been sightings of Pikmin sporting traditional envelopes and lanterns! If you’ve never met Lunar New Year Ornament Decor Pikmin before, or if you are missing some from past encounters, this is your chance to befriend them!
The Lunar New Year Ornament Decor Pikmin Event kicks off January 25th, 2025 0:00 and runs to February 28th, 2025 23:59 local time.
Mystery Boxes obtained from destroying the mushrooms below may sometimes contain seedlings for Lunar New Year Ornament: Red or Gold Decor Pikmin in addition to other rewards.
- From January 25th until January 31st: Mysterious Mushrooms
- From February 1st until February 28th: Magnificent Mushrooms
During the event, Lunar New Year Ornament Decor Pikmin will be stronger than usual against all Mushrooms, and even more so against Mysterious and Magnificent Mushrooms. Don’t hesitate to send them to battle!
During the event, the shop will be offering Lunar New Year-inspired outfits and accessories for your Mii, including those that were only available through collecting Red Envelopes last year. Don’t forget to check them out in the shop if you’re considering adding them to your collection!

When you purchase this ticket and clear the dedicated mission, you’ll be able to select a Gold Seedling for any of the 14 available types. The mission must be completed by April 30, 2025 at 23:59.
