Rumour – Respawn Entertainment And Bit Reactor’s Upcoming RTS Star Wars Game Will Be Revealed This Spring
Respawn Entertainment is working on a third, and “final chapter” to its Star Wars Jedi series, but that’s not the only Star Wars game that the jewel studio of EA’s roster has in the works.
No, not a new FPS game, that project was unfortunately cancelled when EA laid off 670 people in a 5% cut to its workforce. It’s a strategy game, that’s being worked on by both Respawn and Bit Reactor.
The only things we know about this coming title is that it’ll be an RTS game, it’ll probably be made on Unreal Engine 5, and that’s actually it. That’s all we got in the two years since it was confirmed, so we’re due for a reveal.
When that reveal will be is the question, and X user bogorad222 claims to have an answer. Spotted by Insider-Gaming, according to them, the reveal will happen during Star Wars Celebration in Japan, which is set to take place April 18-20, 2025.
It is just a claim, made from someone who doesn’t exactly have a history of leaking things, but Insider-Gaming’s report does add that they have seen “sufficient evidence that the claims were genuine from one source.”
Insider-Gaming does have a good track record when it comes to leaks, but regardless it’s still best to take rumours with a bit of salt.
