World War Z: Aftermath’s Latest Update 1.64 Includes Numerous Bug Fixes And Gameplay Changes
World War Z: Aftermath’s latest update patch 1.64 is now live and available to download for all players on PS5 and PS4.
This update includes a number of bug fixes, a few quality-of-life improvements regarding animations and a small number of gameplay changes.

General
- Increased the number of chips required to activate the elevator at the Casino location in Chapter 3 of the Las Vegas episode.
- Removed the ability for players to deposit chips into the receiver after completing the “Collect Chips” task in Chapter 3 of the Las Vegas episode.
- Increased the number of jackpots in the Casino location in Chapter 3 of the Las Vegas episode.
Quality of Life
- Added animation to the stamina bar while in a dust storm.
- Added the sound of electrical discharges between transformers at the Substation location in Chapter 2 of the Las Vegas episode.
- Added localization for picking up chips in the breaching room at the Casino location in Chapter 3 of the Las Vegas episode.
- Added information in the HUD for getting items:
- Key card in Chapter 1.
- Chips from slot machines.
- Breaching charges in Chapter 3.
Resolved Issues
- Fixed an issue where players could not continue a mission when completing a task with barricades set up.
- Fixed an issue with the Protect tag remaining until the end of Chapter 2 of the Las Vegas episode.
- Fixed the marker for repairing electrical panels at the Hotel location in Chapter 2 of the Las Vegas episode.
- Fixed an issue where a player was teleported instantly without a revival timer if the party was at the group-up point in Chapter 2 of the Las Vegas episode.
- Fixed an issue where the alarm sound continued to play after a power shutdown in Chapter 2 of the Las Vegas episode.
- Fixed an issue with the display of “Interact” labels on chips and “Delivery” labels on the chips receiver after calling the elevator at the Casino location in Chapter 3 of the Las Vegas episode.
- Fixed an issue with overlapping storylines and chips pick-up lines in Chapter 3 of the Las Vegas episode.
- Fixed an issue where the player could get stuck at the Casino location in Chapter 3 of the Las Vegas episode.
- Fixed an issue with the visual display of slot machines at the Casino location when connecting into a started session in Chapter 3 of the Las Vegas episode.
- Fixed an issue with voice lines overlapping when picking up in co-op in Chapter 3 of the Las Vegas episode.
- Fixed trinkets display on the characters Heather and Arnetta.
- Fixed an issue where sleeping-lying zombies would not react to the player in Extinction mode.
- Fixed an issue with missing sandstorm animation in the Aquapark location.
- Fixed an issue with a flickering poster in the Street location in Chapter 1 of the Las Vegas episode.
- Fixed the flickering door in the Station location in Chapter 1 of the Las Vegas episode.
- Fixed an issue with the incomplete display of the Signature Weapon skin on Sporting Carbine at some graphics settings.
