Insomniac’s Spider-Man Suit Is Coming To Marvel Rivals The Same Day Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Arrives On PC
Marvel Rivals has really come on to the online multiplayer scene and done far better than anyone could’ve predicted. Sure, it’s a Marvel–backed game, but the reality of live service games is that it’s a difficult nut for any developer/publisher to crack.
But developer NetEase has done just that with Marvel Rivals, exemplified even more by the support the game is getting across Marvel’s business, with the latest update being that even Insomniac’s version of Spider-Man will be available for players later this month on January 30, 2025.
It’s also not a PlayStation–exclusive cosmetic, or anything close to like what happened with Marvel’s Avengers. The suit will be arriving in Marvel Rivals the same day that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 arrives on PC.

“Take the first look at Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 (2023) in Marvel Rivals, the Advanced Suit 2.0 blends Otto Octavius’s science with Peter Parker’s genius. Crafted for the toughest battles, it symbolizes Spider-Man’s true grit as a hero.”
