Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 Multiplayer And Warzone Matchmaking Has Seemingly Been Broken By Latest Patch

Having trouble playing Black Ops 6 or Warzone? You’re not alone, as multiple reports have appeared online of players being stuck in matchmaking lobbies.

The popularity of Call of Duty means that when its working, it takes absolutely no time to find a match and start playing. So even a little delay in matchmaking times is a sign that things aren’t working the way they should.

It should be noted that the official Call of Duty Updates account on X did warn players that as the latest update is rolled out, “players may temporarily notice longer than usual matchmaking times.”

But sitting in the lobby for 10, 20, and now 30+ minutes as some players have at time of writing perhaps isn’t what anyone had in mind when it comes to “longer than usual matchmaking times.”

Surely Activision didn’t intend to keep players waiting that long, so unfortunately, for now, matchmaking is just broken until the update has finished rolling out globally.

The patch that’s broken everything? Five fixes total, which you can check out below:

  • Fixed an issue where loading screens were causing instances of freezing or crashing.

  • Fixed an issue with bullet trajectory on the AMR Mod 4.
  • Fixed an issue in Resurgence where a player dying out of bounds would lose functionality of their field upgrades and killstreaks.
  • Fixed an issue where models weren’t visible for ammo boxes, self revives, and throwing knives.
  • Fixed an issue where players would not have a death icon when dying to Red Light Green Light.

At time of writing there’s been no update as to whether or not matchmaking is fixed, we’ll update this article as soon as the story develops.
