GTA VI Preorders Alone Could Generated More Than $1 Billion, Says Research Firm
Grand Theft Auto VI could pull in as much as one billion dollars from preorders alone, according to research outfit DFC Intelligence.
Speaking with the Financial Times, the firm has forecast $3.2 billion will be generated by the highly anticipated crime epic during its first year on sale, doubling the amount made by Grand Theft Auto V more than a decade ago and more than Inside Out 2 and Deadpool & Wolverine. It added that GTA VI is probably going to eclipse $1 billion in pre-orders before the game is even out.
