Xbox Fans Treated To Surprise ‘Everwild’ Appearance Ahead Of The New Year
We haven’t really heard much about the long-in-development Everwild over the past couple of years, but Rare has been silently working away on it, and we might have a sign that some kind of reveal will be shared with us in 2025.
As part of their “Happy Holidays” message on social media, Rare shared a new piece of artwork from Everwild as you can see below, which once again has left us very intrigued to find out more about it… hopefully next year!
Rare first revealed Everwild to the world back in late 2019, but it’s clearly undergone some development challenges ever since. Over the past couple of months, we’ve heard rumours that progress is going well on the project, and Xbox boss Phil Spencer even namedropped the title during his recent visit to Rare’s offices in the UK.
We’re not expecting to play Everwild in 2025 — we don’t even really know what kind of game it is (!) — but here’s hoping Xbox might have more details to share in the summer, or perhaps even at an Xbox Developer Direct in January!
