Warframe “The Hex” – Warframe: 1999 Animated Prologue Teaser
Warframe’s next major update, Warframe: 1999, arrives later in December, and today brings us one more piece of promo content in the form of a teaser for an animated short. Created in partnership with the incredibly talented artists at The Line Studio, the finished short clocks in at an action-packed 99 seconds. You can catch a glimpse of The Hex during an early battle with Scaldra once the full video releases next week on December 5, but in the meantime enjoy this short teaser for a preview of what’s to come.
Today, you can go hands-on with a small bite of Warframe’s next narrative arc before its full launch. Accessible to all players in-game after completing the Awakening and Vor’s Prize tutorial Quests, seek out a mysterious infested terminal in the main ship’s flight deck and blast through a small slice of Warframe: 1999.
WARFRAME: 1999 (WINTER 2024): Enter a brand new era of Warframe by traveling back to Earth in 1999 and discover a grungy, alternate world littered with secrets. Narratively team up with a cast of six different iconic Protoframes in order to track down Dr. Entrati before the clock strikes midnight on New Year’s Eve.
