Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3’s Story Is Set As Development Moves Forward
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the second chapter in this three-game remake of one game, Final Fantasy VII, was a lock as one of the best games of 2024 when it arrived earlier this year, and that hasn’t changed as we near 2025 and a lot of GOTY discussion for 2024.
While some players are likely still making their way through the Gold Saucer and the rest of the giant list of mini-games that are available in Rebirth’s adventure, plenty more are ready for the third and final chapter.
Of course it’s still years away, but Square Enix’s own Naoki Hamaguchi and Yoshinori Kitase did have a bit of a development update to share with fans at a G-Star 2024 seminar in Korea.
Spotted by Noisy Pixel (but first reported by 4Gamer) the two shared that the game’s story or plot is complete, the game’s concepts are all in place, and development on the game is moving forward.
So at least they have that set. Now all they have to do is make the game.
