Square Enix shares Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake streaming guidelines
Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake launches Nov. 14th, 2024, which is just a few days away. Ahead of the game’s launch, Square Enix has released a set of guidelines for those who plan to stream or create video content for the game.
Depending on the usage of clips and streams, Square Enix has different rules. You can read some of the guidelines for videos below.
Sharing the Videos (including those containing background music) for non-commercial purposes on video-sharing sites such as YouTube, Niconico, Twitch, Facebook, TikTok and Instagram. You can’t require payment to view or access any Materials. However, SQUARE ENIX does allow you to monetise content via advertising through platform-operated programs on YouTube, Twitch, Mixer, and other similar services.
Sharing the Images and URL of the Videos for non-commercial purposes on your personal homepages, blogs, social networking services is permitted. Sharing the Images and URL of the Videos on any homepages, blogs, social networking services owned by a corporation or any type of organization (and not an individual) will be regarded as commercial use and is not permitted.
