Black Friday graphics card deals 2024: the big deals event is on the way and GPU deals are likely
It’s not a good time for cheap graphics cards. ‘Wait, but I thought this was a graphics card deals page?’ It is, but we’re in the calm before the storm. Black Friday won’t kick off for another month and in the meantime we’ve noted only a few changes in GPU prices, with some even increasing by a couple dollars. You’ll still find some cards worth buying below, mostly AMD models, but if you want the best deal on a graphics card, wait around for Black Friday.
We’ll be updating this page with the best early Black Friday graphics card deals in the lead up to the event. Black Friday lands on November 29, 2024.
Below you’ll find a selection of current generation Nvidia and AMD graphics cards actually worth buying. We may recommend a handful of last generation cards if they’re truly spectacular deals, but generally these aren’t worth buying anymore compared to the RTX 40-series and RX 7000-series.

This is the last hurrah for the RTX 40-series and RX 7000-series. That’s the idea, anyways. We’re expecting new graphics cards from both Nvidia and AMD in the new year. That’s the new RTX 50-series, codename Blackwell, led into battle by the RTX 5090; and RDNA 4-based GPUs presumably under the RX 8000-series banner.
When is Black Friday 2024?
Black Friday will take place on the final weekend of November, which this year falls on November 29, 2024. History tells us to expect plenty of deals ahead of that date, through November, and some afterwards, including on Cyber Monday.
What are Black Friday price guarantees and should I look out for them?
In the lead up to Black Friday some retailers may offer you a price guarantee, which has included Newegg and Best Buy in previous years.
These are a very handy tool for prospective buyers. The retailer is essentially offering you the lowest price for a product during the sales period, whether or not you bought it at that price or not. Head to the checkout with an early Black Friday graphics card deal, securing the stock for yourself, and if it drops any lower in price, you’ll only pay that much.
The only downside is, most of the time, you’ll be locked into buying it from that specific retailer. If another retailer massively reduces prices further, you might not get that reduction yourself. That said, most major retailers try to match one another during Black Friday, which helps reduce the risk of overpaying.

Performance comparison
We’ve benchmarked all the latest GPUs of this generation, and have tracked their performance against the previous generation in terms of 3DMark Time Spy Extreme scores. Where we don’t have the referential numbers for an older card we have used the average index score from the UL database. These figures track alongside an aggregated 1440p frame rate score from across our suite of benchmarks.
Intel’s Arc cards are not noted here, as they generally score uncharacteristically highly in 3DMark, and that gives a false sense of performance without other frame rate figures to delve into. Check out our Arc A770 review and Arc A750 review for more.
MSRP list
Here’s a list of the manufacturer set retail prices (MSRP), or recommended retail price (RRP), for most the latest graphics cards. For the most part, these are the set prices for the stock or reference versions of these cards, if applicable, and not representative of overclocked or third-party graphics cards, which may well be priced higher.
