New Dragon’s Dogma II Update Reportedly Enhances PS5 Performance With Improved Frame Rate

Capcom has released a new Dragon’s Dogma II update overnight, and fans are convinced after trying the game that its performance on the PS5 is much better as a result in regards to frame rate.

The update renames the graphics modes in the game to Prioritise Graphics and Prioritise Performance, and is accompanied by a table that reveals resolution and frame rates that are available for each mode. However, unofficially, it appears the game’s performance on PS5 is also enhanced, as users on Reddit have claimed they have noticed a difference.

Capcom has said that Dragon’s Dogma II runs at 50 — 60 FPS in Prioritise Performance, and 30 — 40 FPS during Prioritise Graphics. One Reddit user noted that the game appears to hit very close to 60 FPS following the patch, which is pretty significant considering Dragon’s Dogam II’s performance at launch wasn’t all that great.
