Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic Remake Still Coming As Saber Interactive Secures New Investments
Saber Interactive has revealed in a press release that it has secured a new round of investments following its separation from Embracer Group, allowing it to continue working on multiple projects, including the long-awaited Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic Remake.
The developer revealed that both Aleph Capital Partners and Crestview Partners have made a “significant equity investment” in the company, which means it is able to retire the debut that it owed Embracer Group after the split. While a release date for Knights of the Old Republic remains elusive, the game was mentioned alongside Jurassic Park Survival, John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando, Tempest Rising and more as part of its upcoming slate.
