The Plucky Squire Arrives Physically On PS5 In February 2025
The Plucky Squire has been one of the more highly anticipated indie games in the industry since it was revealed back in 2022, at which point developer All Possible Futures went quiet on the game and focused on getting it done.
Thankfully we began hearing more about it this year and we finally have a release date, which is currently set for September 17, 2024.
However that’s just for the digital version of the game. In a post on Twitter on Tuesday, we finally got word as to when we can expect physical copies to arrive, February 21, 2024.
Physical versions can be pre-ordered now, and All Possible Futures says “PS5 and Nintendo Switch will have Standard ($34.99) and Devolver Deluxe Editions ($54.99). We’re targeting Feb 21, 2025 for the physical releases.”
So if you’re the collecting type and wanted to grab The Plucky Squire on disc, then you’ll be able to do so next year.
It’ll be interesting to see if there are any special collector’s versions coming for The Plucky Squire, especially since the game itself is such a celebration of the physical things in childhood that help transport us to adventures across our imagination.
