AEW Dynamite Holds Steady In Viewership For August 21st Episode, Key Demo Up


The viewership numbers are in for the August 21st episode of AEW Dynamite on TBS.

According to PW Torch and later confirmed by WrestleNomics, the program drew 698,000 viewers and scored a rating of 0.24 in the 18-49 demographic. The viewership numbers is slightly down from August 14th’s 703,000 viewers, but was up in the key demo from last week’s 0.23 rating. AEW, like WWE Raw and WWE NXT, was up against the Democratic National Convention. The show took place at the Utilita Arena Cardiff in Cardiff, Wales and was attended by 4,236 fans according to WrestleTix.

This was the go-home Dynamite ahead of this Sunday’s AEW All In pay-per-view event from Wembley Stadium. Dynamite was headlined by Swerve Strickland and Bryan Danielson meeting face to face ahead of their career vs. world title matchup. Also in action was Toni Storm, Saraya, the Young Bucks, FTR, Claudio Castagnoli, Kazuchika Okada, and more.
