Rockstar’s ‘Bully’ Hits The Headlines Over Possible Xbox Remaster, But Don’t Get Your Hopes Up
Over the weekend, there was a lot of talk about the possibility of an Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S remaster for Rockstar’s classic Bully game from the Xbox 360 era, but although we’d love to see it, we don’t think it’s happening.
The reasoning is solid – it’s just been rated in Taiwan for a whole bunch of modern systems out of the blue. Does that mean a new port is in the works? Possibly, although the picture below doesn’t really tell the full story:
As mentioned by Gematsu in their post that’s been attracting all the attention, Bully is joining Rockstar’s GTA+ service on Tuesday which allows members to play certain games at no extra charge across a variety of consoles and devices.
With that in mind, it seems there’s simply work being done behind the scenes to prepare its arrival. That could signify we’re getting a new port that doesn’t rely on backwards compatibility, but a remaster seems pretty unlikely.
In any case, we’d love to see this game get a glow-up at some point – surely it would be a massive hit!
