The Shorekeeper | Wuthering Waves

We’re about to meet Wuthering Waves’ Shorekeeper, a five-star character sure to provide some serious help as part of our teams. She’s very mysterious and is an important member of the Black Shores. We’re sure there will be plenty of lore about what she can do and where she’s been, so we’re excited to meet her.

Who is Wuthering Waves The Shorekeeper?

This fancy-looking lady recently got announced by the Wuthering Waves Twitter account as an upcoming playable character, but it turns out that we’ve seen her before. Specifically, you can see her in the release trailer as a butterfly starting at 0:45 seconds.

Known as The Shorekeeper, she’s a member of the Black Shores group and is the governing body behind it. She comes when summoned, and remains aloof otherwise. Now, it seems, she wants to connect with the world, so appears in a human form for us to recruit into our teams. According to Wuthering Waves Aalto, The Shorekeeper is an “ancient being, born with this planet. She is the will of the star and the reverberation of everything in this world”.

The Shorekeeper release date speculation

The Shorekeeper is a five-star character releasing in the 1.3 update of Wuthering Waves after we get Zhezhi and Xiangli Yao in update 1.2. We’re currently not sure if she will release in the first or second half, or if the new four-star Wuthering Waves Youhu will join her banner as well.

What do we know about The Shorekeeper’s build?

Nothing is officially confirmed about The Shorekeeper, and her color scheme may lead you to believe that she’s another glacio unit – however, we took a peek at some leaks and she appears to use the spectro element and a rectifier weapon.

In terms of what she can do in our teams, there are no specific details yet, but her kit pertains to buffing teammates and healing your on-field characters.
